Be Not Afraid

Part of a personal project inspired by biblical angels, depicting my interpretation of the Thrones, one of the third-highest angelic orders.

All-seeing beings, they manifest semi-human forms through humors drawn from their pupils.
Their gaze enacts God's will, petrifying His enemies or rebirthing them through baptism as His soldiers.

The Sigillum Dei lies at the heart of the baptistery, encircled by Seraphim carved upon the pillars.
